On 3 February 2020, the Bonfire terms and conditions were updated to include a decline transaction fee of $0.49. For cards activated after 3 February 2020, this fee will be charged for ‘card not present’ transactions that are declined due to insufficient funds, effective 8 May 2020. From 6 August 2020, this decline transaction fee will also apply to all cards activated before 3 February 2020. The fee will be deducted from the unused value on the card.

Dispute Form

If you would like to dispute a transaction(s), you'll need to contact us within 60 days of the purchase date.

To dispute a transaction(s) please fill in the Dispute Form, scan it, and email it to support@bonfire.co.nz.

A $50 charge will be applied to your card per transaction and refunded if your dispute is approved.
