Bonfire® Gift Mastercard® can be used as a payment method online and in-store, at millions of places that accept Mastercard. Whether you want to reward yourself, or gift to another, the Bonfire card allows you to Eat, Play, Stay and Shop your way.

Purchase at your local supermarket** or online*, select the dollar value from $25 up to $1000, and you are ready to go.

How do I purchase a Bonfire card?

Simply head to your closest supermarket*, locate the Bonfire Gift cards (usually at checkout areas), select from our range of card designs, take it the counter and advise cashier of the value you wish to load. Cards can be loaded anywhere from $25 - $1000NZ dollars.

Once you've made your payment, your Bonfire Card is activated and ready to spend immediately. Cards can also be purchased online here.

*Online - Quantity of bonfire gift cards cannot exceed 40 cards. Each card can be loaded with between $25 and $1000 with a maximum value on your total order of $4000 (excluding fees such as load fees and courier charges etc.).

**In-store - Quantity of bonfire gift cards cannot exceed 5 cards. Each card can be loaded with between $25 and $1000 with a maximum value on your total order of $1000 (excluding fees such as load fees).

How do I activate/register my Bonfire card?

Bonfire cards purchased online need to be activated using the activation code send via email to the purchaser. Using the code you can activate your card here. Cards purchased in-store, are ready for use immediately.

If you wish to access your card's balance(s), view transaction history, and activate GiftSafe security, you need to register it by entering requested details on the Bonfire website.

How do I check my Bonfire card balance?

Once you have created an account, simply login with your email address and password to view your card balances and more.

Where do I go for support and balance enquiries?

Customer support* is available via 0800 TO GIFT (0800 86 44 38). When calling, please have your card details available, as you will be prompted to provide some of the information on your gift card. Once your gift card details have been entered, simply follow the instructions for balance inquiries and customer support.
